!!! Important News !!!
All week long training workshops have been cancelled due to lack of signups. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Bent Plug Productions offers beginning and advanced 3D Modeling and Animation training at our lab located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We use the latest version of Macon Computer's Cinema 4D software for all instruction, however all concepts and most skills learned are transferable to other applications (Maya, Lightwave, Max*, etc). Our beginning class is a weeklong training that runs Tuesday through Saturday several times a year. We also offer an advanced series of one-day workshops that feature specific topics of study. These all day intensive training sessions are offered sequentially over a week (Tuesday through Saturday) or on various scheduled Saturdays.

All classes are taught by Donovan Keith using hands on techniques and both individual and group instruction. Donovan has been a demo artist for Maxon Computer for several years and has been teaching computer modeling and animation since 1999. As a traditional artist, Donovan brings a wide range of experience to his digital art and animation. He authored the chapter on programming using C.O.F.F.E.E. in Adam Watkin's book "The Cinema 4D XL 7 Handbook". As a programmer, Donovan designed and wrote the plug-in "Golem" which improves Cinema's functionality in the area of character animation. Donovan is also a regular on TechTV's "The Screen Savers" where he provides insight into computer animation for their international audience.

Cost: Week long sessions are $650 and daily advanced sessions are $150. Advance session 3 "Rigging with Golem" is only $75 for students who have purchased Golem prior to the class session. For out of the area students there are several motels and hotels within easy access of the training facility. For more details, visit the Lodging Information section.

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with lunch break.
